This. Song. It's so much fun, and makes me laugh when I listen to the words. Coming from Australia, this band always seems to have fun songs. Their first hit, "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" came out in 2003. When I first heard this I immediately loved it. It's fun, groovy, and has lyrics that every guy can relate to. Their most recent hit, "Seventeen", is okay. It's definitely not my favorite song by them, because for some reason it just seems a little redundant.
I could only hear certain sounds, mainly the guitars, and I thought I was listening to Eye Of The Tiger (once he got to the second verse), which actually was a pleasant surprise. Then, once I found and fixed the problem, I was even more pleased with the sound. I love the sound of the singers voice, and the guitars are amazing. Maybe it's just me, but I'd give it a thumbs up, even though I think of Eye Of The Tiger every time I hear the song.
I've heard of them before but never really actually made an effort to listen to them. Now I think I may be in love. They kind of remind me of The Devil Wears Prada and MAYBE Attack! Attack!. Right now, my top songs by them that I've heard are All Signs Point To Lauderdale, The Downfall Of Us All, and All I Want. Man, do I love these songs :)
I didn't love her, and I didn't hate her. The first song I heard was Massive Attack with Sean Garret. It was pretty amusing to see all the different outfits she chose to wear, and the persona she was striving to become. Now, I truly don't like her. My opinion has changed drastically, because before she was interesting, now I feel like she is just trying to be a black version of Lady Gaga. In her songs she just refers to herself as "Barbie". Can't you get a little more creative than that?Lemonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03416019448294775503noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4063933605787111640.post-72706327925368914952011-10-09T18:39:00.000-07:002011-10-09T18:39:15.073-07:00Waka Flocka Flame/Wale/Roscoe Dash: No HandsSome of the worst lyrics ever, no doubt about that. Awesome beat, though. Yes, this song came out a little while ago, so it's sort of late to be talking about it now. I just can't get enough of the beat. Is anyone else as addicted to it as I am?
Same fun sound and groovy beats, just new songs. The hits on their new album I'm With You is The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie and Monarchy Of Roses. Personally, I'd say their most groovy song is Give It Away, but maybe that's just because I think it has a unique sound.
Some of the most genuine hip-hop around is back. Honestly, my favorite track on the new album Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 is probably Funky Donkey, just because I'm in love with the name. That said, the most popular track is Make Some Noise. Man, am I glad the Beasties are back.
When the song first started I thought it was going to be a typical Bullet For My Valentine or Avenged Sevenfold type track, but I got a different vibe from it when he actually started singing. They have their own flow which I like, and interesting lyrics, too.

It's too emotional, and many times sounds all too similar to me. But in this song, even though it has a hint of country, there's something about it that I like.
Ryan McAllister works out of a barn that he uses for his studio. Maybe sometimes you can work in a pigsty and end with something actually decent.
At first I was expecting a Techno style song for some reason, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out it had a more Pop/Rock feel. Also created in 2008, this group was formed by TommyD (producer) and Jamie Scott (singer). Graffiti6 hails from London, but I think they will fit in very well in the US because I already love their sound.
At first I was thinking how great this song would make for a remix with some type of rapping/hip hop, but they knew what I was thinking. I love the piano in the back, and the voice in the chorus. One thing I don't like about this song is that by the end of listening to it for a second time the piano started sounding slightly redundant. That said, I absolutely adore the track as well as the collaboration.
For those of you who don't know this band, they have an interesting indie-pop-rock type feel. Their other hits were "Dog Days Are Over", "Rabbit Heart", and "You've Got The Love". What do you think of their new track?
He's a DJ and now producer too, from North Carolina. He started out in house music, but now is working with a more dubstep type style, maybe because he's working with Skrillex in the OWSLA project. This month and next month Robinson will be on tour with Tiesto as direct support for the "College Invasion Tour". Then get ready to see this 19-year-old on tour again all throughout North America for "The Spitfire Tour".
I'm not sure if they have the same apps for other smart phones as well. If not, I'm sure there's something similar.

My favourite is Rythmatic. It takes your music library and creates a tap-beat game, sort of like "Tap Tap Revenge" but with all your own music! Oh and it's free too.

Next I would suggest Trivia Tunes for those of you who like to stay on top of the most popular music. It plays a clip of a popular song and you have to guess who the artist is. Single or muli-player modes.

Another game like the above is Tuned; same concept as Trivia Tunes.

I'd also suggest you try TouchDance2 and Riddim. Touch dance is like Dance Dance Revolution, but with your fingers! There are 4 squares, and the steps go by at the top. Just be sure to time them correctly! Riddim is pretty much like a bowling ball, and you have to turn
your screen to turn the ball and try to get all the achievements. Be careful, its really fast!

Lastly, try Auditorium. It's an amazing concept, actually, but hard to explain. There are streams of light, and arrows that you can put into/next to the light to change its path. There are also boxes that you are trying to fill with the light using the arrows, and each box you fill adds a new sound. Check it out.
Just found something for techno creators or anyone who just wants to mess around. It's a VST (Virtual Studio Technology) Synth by Twisted Energy. Really fun to play around with and free! Check it out.

Fruity loops!!! It's an awesome loop studio/beat maker which you can even get for free with the demo. Personally, I'm still getting used to the whole program, and *attempting* to create some beast beats. I've already found so many in-program app type things which are so cool. That said, I honestly haven't figured out what each of the apps do, but I'm getting there. There's so many options and so many different sounds and ways to alter those sounds, you could really make any beat you want. Once you get used to the whole setup, of course.
