Jet: Cold Hard Bitch

Love.  This.  Song.  It's so much fun, and makes me laugh when I listen to the words.  Coming from Australia, this band always seems to have fun songs.  Their first hit, "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" came out in 2003.  When I first heard this I immediately loved it.  It's fun, groovy, and has lyrics that every guy can relate to.  Their most recent hit, "Seventeen", is okay.  It's definitely not my favorite song by them, because for some reason it just seems a little redundant.

Close Your Eyes: Song For The Broken

At first when I heard this song, the cable to my speakers was not plugged in completely which caused the sound to be all messed up.  I could only hear certain sounds, mainly the guitars, and I thought I was listening to Eye Of The Tiger (once he got to the second verse), which actually was a pleasant surprise.  Then, once I found and fixed the problem, I was even more pleased with the sound.  I love the sound of the singers voice, and the guitars are amazing.  Maybe it's just me, but I'd give it a thumbs up, even though I think of Eye Of The Tiger every time I hear the song.

A Day To Remember

Wow.  I've heard of them before but never really actually made an effort to listen to them.  Now I think I may be in love.  They kind of remind me of The Devil Wears Prada and MAYBE Attack! Attack!.  Right now, my top songs by them that I've heard are All Signs Point To Lauderdale, The Downfall Of Us All, and All I Want.  Man, do I love these songs :)

Red Hot Chili Peppers New Album

Another classic is back with a new album.  Same fun sound and groovy beats, just new songs.  The hits on their new album I'm With You is The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie and Monarchy Of Roses.  Personally, I'd say their most groovy song is Give It Away, but maybe that's just because I think it has a unique sound.

Glamour Of The Kill: If Only She Knew

Hailing from England, these guys know how to rock.  When the song first started I thought it was going to be a typical Bullet For My Valentine or Avenged Sevenfold type track, but I got a different vibe from it when he actually started singing.  They have their own flow which I like, and interesting lyrics, too. Graffiti6: Stare Into The Sun

The name is definitely misleading, but I still love the song.  At first I was expecting a Techno style song for some reason, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out it had a more Pop/Rock feel.  Also created in 2008, this group was formed by TommyD (producer) and Jamie Scott (singer).  Graffiti6 hails from London, but I think they will fit in very well in the US because I already love their sound.

The Fratellis: Chelsea Dagger

The Fratellis are a Scottish band who debuted in 2006, hitting #2 on the UK Album Charts.  They have a sort of Indie-Rock/Rock feel, and each song has a different unique flow.  This song in particular is just very groovy, and fun to listen to as well.
